Berry Patch Farm grows USDA Certified Organic fruit and produce that is chemical and pesticide free.

Our produce is available in season at the Ashe County Farmer’s Market in West Jefferson.
We sell organically grown seedlings for transplanting in the spring.

Romaine heads of lettuce, Breen (red) Romaine Lettuce, Mesclun Salad Mix, Onions, Shallots, German Extra Hardy Garlic bulbs, Pimento Red Peppers, Hot Peppers, Gourmet Sweet Peppers: (Yellow, Red, Chocolate and Green), ‘Goldy’ straight-necked Squash, English type Cucumbers, Red Thumb and Russian Fingerling Potatoes, ‘Rainbow’ Swiss Chard, Sugar Snap Peas, Spinach, Rhubarb, Chioggia (red and white striped) Beets, Parisian Carrots, Heritage Tomatoes (Cherokee Purple, Plum tomatoes, etc.,) Medleys of Cherry Tomatoes (Cherry Red, Black Cherry, Yellow Pear, Strawberry size, and Orange - Sun Kissed).

Culinary Herbs: Parsley, Basil (Sweet and Cinammon), Oregano leaves, and Sorrel.

Bees-N-Boots Honey:  
Our 100% Raw Honey is produced by our busy bees and contains no chemical treatments or additives.

We also produce “Creamed Honey” which is a process of using a ‘starter’ of very small granules of 100% honey mixed with our raw liquid honey. The process takes about two weeks and then we place the creamed
honey into 1 pound tubs.

Honey is sold in 16 ounce containers: Liquid Honey is in leak-proof plastic jars and Creamed Honey is in16 ounce tubs.

The price for either Liquid or Creamed Honey is $10.00 per container.

Diatomaceous Earth:  
DE is a naturally occurring, mechanical pesticide. DE is made of diatoms mined and then ground into powder to produce an organic insecticide/pesticide. The tiny fossilized diatoms have a razor sharp edge that penetrates the cutaneous shells of insects. DE will not harm earth worms and is safe to use around children and pets. Food grade DE is actually added to most bread flours to prevent moth infestations.

DE can be used as a flea preventative on pets, pet bedding, in yards and in the house. Watch it kill ants and roaches! DE can also be used in the garden as an all natural insecticide. DE is also beneficial to the soil as it is loaded with trace minerals.
